UpThrone Window Treatments (“Company”) provides custom blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery services including measurement, consultation, product ordering, and installation.
By using our services or website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
All products are custom-made to order.
- All sales are final once production begins
- Orders cannot be canceled, refunded, or modified after submission
- Minor variations in color, texture, and sizing are industry standard and not defects
- All quotes are estimates only
- Pricing is not guaranteed until order confirmation and payment
- Prices may change due to manufacturer updates or measurement changes
- Errors in pricing may be corrected before order acceptance
- Payment is required before production begins
- Orders are only processed after payment confirmation
- Unpaid orders may be canceled without liability
- All payments are non-refundable once processing begins
- Customer-provided measurements are fully the customer’s responsibility
- UpThrone is not liable for incorrect fit due to wrong measurements
- Professional measurement reduces risk but does not eliminate installation variables
- Installation is scheduled after product arrival and inspection
- Customer must provide safe and accessible work areas
- Additional charges may apply for unexpected conditions
- Not responsible for hidden wiring, plumbing, or structural defects
To the maximum extent allowed by Texas law:
- Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service/product
- No responsibility for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Not responsible for property damage caused by pre-existing conditions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Disputes shall be handled in Fort Bend County, Texas.

UpThrone Window Treatments warrants to the original purchaser that eligible window treatment products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, subject to the terms, limitations, and exclusions outlined below.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and remains valid for as long as the original purchaser owns the product.
Subject to the terms of this warranty, UpThrone Window Treatments will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any covered product found to have a defect in materials or workmanship.
Coverage includes:
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Failure to operate under normal use and conditions
- Internal operating mechanisms
- Mounting brackets and hardware components
- Fabric delamination
- Operational cords for five (5) years from the original date of purchase
- Motorized components and motors for three (3) years from the original date of purchase
Repairs or replacements may be made using new, refurbished, reconditioned, or substantially equivalent parts or products. If the original product, fabric, color, material, or component is discontinued or unavailable, UpThrone Window Treatments reserves the right to substitute a similar product, component, color, or material of comparable quality and value.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic changes occurring over time
- Fading, discoloration, yellowing, stretching, shrinking, warping, or material aging
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper handling, accidents, or vandalism
- Product alterations, modifications, or repairs performed by unauthorized persons
- Improper measuring, installation, maintenance, cleaning, storage, or operation
- Exposure to excessive sunlight, UV radiation, moisture, humidity, water intrusion, flooding, salt air, corrosion, mold, mildew, insects, pets, animals, smoke, fire, or environmental conditions
- Damage resulting from structural movement, building settlement, construction activity, remodeling, or acts of nature
- Commercial, rental, institutional, or high-use applications unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Batteries, battery replacement, remote controls, programming, smart-home integration, Wi-Fi connectivity issues, or software-related issues unless specifically covered by the manufacturer
- Products installed by parties other than UpThrone Window Treatments unless otherwise approved in writing
- Service calls for product education, adjustment requests, or issues unrelated to manufacturing defects
UpThrone Window Treatments provides a one (1) year workmanship warranty on installations performed by UpThrone Window Treatments.
This workmanship warranty covers installation-related defects resulting directly from improper installation.
The workmanship warranty does not cover:
- Product defects covered under the manufacturer's or product warranty
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental damage
- Misuse or abuse
- Structural movement
- Environmental conditions
- Customer modifications
- Issues unrelated to the installation itself
After the workmanship warranty period expires, any requested service visits, repairs, adjustments, removal, reinstallation, or labor may be subject to service charges.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, this warranty covers the product itself and does not include:
- Removal of existing products
- Reinstallation costs
- Service call charges
- Trip charges
- Travel expenses
- Shipping, freight, handling, packaging, or delivery costs
- Labor charges incurred after the workmanship warranty period
To request warranty service, the original purchaser must provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Product information sufficient to identify the order
- Description of the issue
- Photographs or videos if requested
UpThrone Window Treatments reserves the right to inspect the product before approving, denying, repairing, or replacing any warranty claim.
Repair or replacement of the product, component, or part shall be the purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UpThrone Window Treatments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of enjoyment, contractor costs, temporary coverings, business interruption, or similar expenses.
In no event shall UpThrone Window Treatments' total liability exceed the original purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.
